Poor Adam, I'm Sorry I Screamed In Your Beautiful Face

Sunshine here, but cautiously hiding from all readers,

I'd like to take you back to the beginning of Adam's career, during the Idol's Live Tour that visited 50 or so cities...and tell you the story of an excited fan, a homemade t-shirt, a high pitched voice, and Adam's poor ears.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
17 year old Sunshine was so excited to see Adam Lambert live in concert...she could not believe she was going to see him!!!! (Yes I am going to talk in third person, it is less embarrassing that way). Anyways, little ol' sunshine had the brilliant plan to run out to the nearest craft store and design a homemade t-shirt to wear to the concert. So she bought a plain black t-shirt, some fabric paint, and was on her merry little way back home. She had it all planned out... she knew what she was going to write. She wrote the words "ADAM HUG ME PLEASE" in big letters across the shirt. It had a few visible smears and such on it...but she tried to cover them... and nevertheless, she wore it to the concert.
Lets skip the concert...it was epic and Sunshine screamed like a high pitched little girl and she was happy and flailed and all the people around her were mad because she wouldn't stop screaming. She was a tad bit excited.
After the concert Sunshine left her mom in the big crowd of people so she could run...okay speed walk...very, very fast to the barricades. She got a spot front row and waited to see Adam. After waiting for about an hour Sunshine saw Adam Lambert. She screamed hysterically with the rest of the mob. But the best part comes after...when Adam Lambert got in hearing distance of Sunshine... she repeatedly screamed at the poor rockstar to read her shirt. "Adam read my shirt!! Adam!! Adam can you please read my shirt?? Adam read my shirt!! Adam!! Adam!! Adam read my shirt!!" Oh, I'd say... about... at least 20 times. She managed to get his autograph twice and the rest of the idols autographs. How? I don't know. Poor Adam just smiled as he sped through the crowd of demanding fans. Sunshine acted like a chicken with her head cut off. Adam never did read her shirt. Or did he...? Sunshine's mom had one last final idea...as the buses pulled out of the parking lot...Sunshine stood at the barricades waving her arms around and flailing at one last attempt that her favorite Idol would possibly read her shirt and appreciate her. She watched as the buses pulled out, standing there in a trance of disappointment, awe, excitement, and happiness.
Sunshine's mom didn't like Adam for a while after that. How dare he ignore her daughter! Sunshine loved him so much even though he didn't read her shirt; she eventually got her mom to understand that Adam Lambert could not possibly make time for every fan. Sunshine was still so thankful for the night and to have gotten his autograph, twice.
That is what happens when you send a 17 year old nutcase like myself to see Adam Lambert for the first time.
(And for the record, I'm 18 now thank you very much :) Ha!) Here's hoping to the fact that I will take the calm and collected route next time I have a chance to come within 10 feet of him and can actually tell him what an inspiration he is to me and how much I love him. Cheers :)
